Collection of 10 different retail counter signs, all with their original easel back, issued by Mail Pouch Tobacco during the 1930s/1940s. Each of these beautifully illustrated displays provides patrons with little-known historical trivia that was meant to inform and entertain. The bold text along the top advertised for Mail Pouch Tobacco. All of the signs (approximately 13.75 x 20.5 inches), which are printed on thick cardboard stock, display varying degrees of wear commensurate with their age and former use. The heaviest wear, as expected, is relegated to the border areas, with the central image areas free of any significant defects, with the exception of two (light-to-moderate staining). In Very Good condition overall. Total: 10 signs. Reserve $200. Estimate $500+.
