Rarely offered complete 50-card set of the rare C61 Imperial Tobacco series, devoted exclusively to the game of lacrosse. This set, along with the colorized C59 and C60 sets, is one the premier lacrosse sets of the era. These sets are highly popular among many serious collectors, including hockey-card collectors, and are appreciated for their great scarcity. These very significant and scarce sets are often overlooked by collectors, but present fantastic opportunities to acquire early sports cards of several notable lacrosse players as well as many future Hockey Hall of Famers. Condition is 10% Ex, 30% Vg-Ex, 22% Vg, 26% Gd, and 12% lesser. Keys: #21 Lalonde (Vg+), 29 Benedict (Gd), and 45 Laviolette (slight tilt to the picture, otherwise Ex).
