Two full tickets (blue variation; 5 x 2 inches) issued, respectively, for the 1982 NCAA Men's Basketball Semi-Finals and Finals. The Semi-Finals ticket has been graded EX 5 by PSA (1 of 6 graded at this level, with just 4 graded higher). The Finals ticket has been graded NM 7 by PSA (1 of 2 graded at this level, with none graded higher). The 1982 title game is memorable for the heroics of North Carolina freshman Michael Jordan, who made the most important shot of his young career against Georgetown. Jordan nailed a short jumper with seventeen seconds left to give North Carolina a one-point lead that they never relinquished. The victory was especially sweet for coach Dean Smith, who earned his first NCAA Championship after twenty years as head coach of the Tar Heels. Total: 2 tickets. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+.
