Five original unopened 36-count wax boxes of 1988-1989 Fleer basketball. Each box contains thirty-six wax packs, with each pack containing fifteen cards and one All-Star sticker, for a total of 180 packs, 2,700 cards, and 180 All-Star stickers. Each of these boxes originates from the former owner of a store that stocked Fleer products throughout the 1980s. The 1989-1990 Fleer set includes the rookie card of Hall of Famer Mitch Richmond, as well as keys cards (and stickers) of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, and Magic Johnson. All the other stars of the day are also included. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, it would be hard to imagine that these two cases do not include a generous supply of Mint 9s and Gem Mint 10s. These boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). The display boxes are bright and crisp, showing normal shelf wear.
