Exceedingly rare full ticket from the “Greatest Game Ever Played”: the 1958 NFL Championship Game between the New York Giants and Baltimore Colts held at Yankee Stadium on December 28th. Encapsulated and certified "Authentic" by PSA. This is one of only two original full tickets from the 1958 NFL championship game authenticated by PSA (two others listed on the population report are noted as having been "reattached"). It is also the only full intact ticket we have ever seen at auction. The fact that 64,185 fans attended the NFL Championship game all but ensures that this will forever remain one of the rarest of all full NFL championship-game tickets, not to mention one of the most desirable. The 1958 NFL Championship is certainly deserving of the title "The Greatest Game Ever Played," as it was the first Championship game to go into sudden-death overtime. The game ended in dramatic fashion when Colts running back Alan Ameche scored from the 1-yard line with 6:45 left on the clock.
