Tremendous collection of six Topps and Fleer wax and cello boxes and an additional 30 unopened rack packs (most with Hall of Famers and stars showing) spanning the years 1980 to 1989. This collection originates from a retired store owner, who sold Topps and Fleer products in his store during the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. All rack packs are in Near Mint or better condition. The wax and cello boxes exhibit normal shelf wear. The interior packs are in Excellent or better condition (mostly Near Mint or better), have never been handled, and display only normal packing and storage wear, if any at all (sometimes in the manufacturer's packaging process a pack can have a tiny corner tear or minor imperfection). Boxes: 1) 1980 Fleer "Teams In Action" Wax Box: 36 packs, with 7 cards and 3 team stickers per pack, for a total of 252 cards and 108 stickers. 2) Two 1982 Fleer "Teams In Action" Wax Boxes: 36 packs per box, with 7 cards and 3 team stickers per pack, for a total of 504 cards and 216 stickers. 3) 1982 Topps Wax Box: 36 packs, with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 540 total cards. 4) 1987 Topps Wax Box: 36 packs, with 15 cards per pack, for a total of 540 total cards. 5) 1988 Topps Super Cello Box: 24 packs, with 39 cards and one glossy "1,000 Yard Club" insert per pack, for a total of 936 cards and 24 inserts. The 1982 and 1987 Topps wax boxes come shrink-wrapped by Baseball Card Exchange (owned by Steve Hart, the foremost expert on unopened material). While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this collection are Mint and Gem Mint examples of the key cards from these sets. An outstanding collection of unopened boxes and rack packs from these very popular Topps and Fleer football issues.
