Trio of original circa early 1930s snapshot photos: 2 picturing Babe Ruth and the other Lou Gehrig. Each of the photos, which appear to have been taken during spring training at the same locale, picture the players wearing their New York Yankees striped pants and a white sweatshirt. Two of the photos picture Ruth and Gehrig posing, respectively, near the rear of the grandstand, while the third is a candid image of Ruth sitting in the dugout. All of the photos (approximately 3 x 4.75 inches) have been slightly trimmed to their current dimensions and display tape residue on the reverse from having once been mounted. A few light surface wrinkles are also evident. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Total: 3 photos. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
