Collection of three rare New York Yankees spring training “Player Roster and Itinerary” pamphlets dating, respectively, from the years 1928, 1929, and 1930. The cover of the 1928 example (3.75 x 8.5 inches) features an illustration of Ruth, while those of both the 1929 and 1930 examples (3.5 x 6.25 inches) picture portrait images of Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Each trifold pamphlet lists the club’s complete spring training roster, exhibition schedule, and hotels for each city visited. While we have only seen a few other of these pamphlets, this grouping is distinguished by its incredible state of preservation. Each remains in spectacular Near Mint condition and most likely represents the finest known example. Total: 3 pamphlets. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
