Rare ticket stub (4 x 1.75 inches) for Game 4 of the 1913 World Series between the Philadelphia Athletics and New York Giants, held at Shibe Park in Philadelphia. Graded VG 3 by PSA. This is one of only five 1913 World Series Game 4 ticket stubs authenticated by PSA, all of which are graded VG 3. Chief Bender defeated Al Demaree 6-5 in Game 4 to give the A's a commanding 3-1 lead in the Series. The next day Eddie Plank defeated Christy Mathewson to close out the Series, which gave Connie Mack his third World Championship in four years. Reserve $300. Estimate $1,000+.
