Pair of typewritten letters on New York Yankees letterhead, each boldly signed in blue ink (grading "10") by team owner George Steinbrenner. In both his letters, dated July 21, 2005, and July 17, 2006, respectively, Steinbrenner writes to the president of the Union County Baseball Association (New Jersey) and respectfully declines to attend the Association's annual Hot Stove League Dinner. Each letter (8.5 x 11 inches) displays 2 horizontal mailing folds and is in Near Mint condition. Total: 2 letters. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
