Classic 1988 poster of the eleven then-living members of the elite 500 Home Run Club, by renowned sports artist Ron Lewis, signed in blue Sharpie by Ted Williams, Frank Robinson, Harmon Killebrew, Reggie Jackson, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Mike Schmidt, Ernie Banks, Eddie Mathews, and Willie McCovey. Each player has signed the piece either on or directly below his respective image, with each signature grading "9" or "10." Mantle has added his career home-run total below his name. Also signed in blue Sharpie by Ron Lewis in the lower-right corner. These posters, which were produced in conjunction with the now-famous 500 Home Run Club signing show held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in 1988, were offered for sale (unsigned) to patrons for use in obtaining the signatures of all eleven then-living members of the Club pictured on the piece. Obviously, the original owner of this piece was successful in that quest and, presumably, all of the signatures were obtained at that show. The poster (37.5 x 20.25 inches; visible dimensions) is in apparent Near Mint condition and has been framed to total dimensions of 38.25 x 21 inches.
