Jackie Robinson personal check, dated 1972, signed by Robinson in blue ink. The check, drawn on the Freedom National Bank of New York, is made out to "Charles J. Campbell" in the amount of $20 and has been signed "Jack R. Robinson" (grading "9/10") along the base. The check (6 x 2.75 inches; visible dimensions) displays a bank cancellation and a small ink stain above Robinson's signature. In apparent Excellent condition overall. It has been matted together with a photographic print (9.5 x 6.5 inches) of the 1947 Brooklyn Dodgers and a 1-page, typed-signed letter (8 x 10.5 inches), dated "1997," from Rachel Robinson (Jackie Robinson's widow) attesting to the fact that the check originates directly from the family.
