Uniquely designed Mitchell & Ness jersey, issued in commemoration of Bobby Thomson's "Shot Heard Round the World," signed on the front by 22 players who participated in the historic 1951 playoff series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants. One half of the garment is a replica 1951 Giants home jersey that has been signed by Bobby Thomson, Willie Mays, Monte Irvin, Herman Franks, Spider Jorgenson, Al Dark, Larry Jansen, Al Corwin, Sal Yvars, Wes Westrum, Don Mueller, and George Spencer. The other half of the garment is a replica 1951 Dodgers road jersey that has been signed by Ralph Branca, Duke Snider, Gene Hermanski, Clyde King, Carl Erskine, Clem Labine, Rocky Bridges, Ed Miksis, Don Newcombe, and Wayne Terwilliger. All of the signatures have been scripted in blue Sharpie and range between "8" and "10." These signed jerseys were limited in number to only 23, and the offered example is hand numbered "21/23" in blue marker on the left front tail. Also on the left front tail, in red stitch, is the special commemoration text: "'Shot Heard Around The World'/October 3, 1951/Polo Grounds/3:58 PM."
