Two different 1979 Topps uncut production sheets, with 132 cards on each sheet, complete with printed reverses, loaded with Hall of Famers and stars, including Nolan Ryan, Reggie Jackson, Johnny Bench, and the rookie card of Ozzie Smith, the key card to the set. These are full 132-card production sheets, each measuring approximately 28-3/8 x 43 inches, arranged in twelve rows of eleven cards each. One row on each sheet is double-printed and includes Bench, Jackson, and Joe Morgan. One sheet presents as Excellent, but displays several minor imperfections, including creasing affecting some of the interior cards (including Smith RC), a couple tiny tears, and wear along the edges and at the corners. The other sheet presents as Vg-Ex, displaying the same minor imperfections as the first sheet (including a light crease on the Nolan Ryan) along with a few light moisture stains on the side borders. Despite these flaws, all of which are common when dealing with these large uncut sheets, the sheets are ideal candidates for framing and display, which would mitigate the condition issues and create an impressive visual. Two attractive uncut sheets from this classic 1970s Topps issue, highlighted by several key Hall of Famers, including the rookie card of Ozzie Smith. Total: 2 sheets. The substantial size/weight of this item requires that there will be a shipping charge for this lot (which will vary depending upon where it is being shipped). Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
