Original 1964 Topps baseball uncut sheet consisting of 132 cards. All cards on this sheet are from the third series (#199-287). The reverse also shows third series card backs, but they are upside down and slightly misaligned, so that each card is essentially a wrong back. Hall of Famers Sandy Koufax (two cards), Frank Robinson (two cards), Carl Yastrzemski (two cards), Brooks Robinson (two cards), Al Kaline (two cards), Nellie Fox (two cards), Juan Marichal, Jim Bunning (two cards), Al Lopez, and Tony Larussa (rookie) are represented by individual cards as well as key non-Hall of Famer Roger Maris. The sheet is arranged in eight rows of eleven cards. It is in very modest condition, displaying a number of condition flaws, including heavy creasing, small tears, staining, and four tack holes. It is very likely that framing would mitigate some of these flaws, making this an ideal candidate for display as it still retains its original bold colors. This is a relatively affordable vintage uncut sheet with a high concentration of Hall of Famers and stars. Dimensions: approximately 28-3/8 x 43 inches. The substantial size/weight of this item requires that there will be a shipping charge for this lot (which will vary depending upon where it is being shipped). Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
