In addition to issuing cards on the backs of Post Cereal boxes, in 1961 Post also made the same set of cards available by mail in perforated uncut sheets of ten with each sheet representing ten players from a given team. Presented is a gorgeous complete Pittsburgh Pirates team set from the 1961 Post series in its original uncut form. Naturally, this is rare to find in complete sheet form as originally issued by mail. Highlighted by Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente and Bill Mazeroski. Also featured are #125 Friend, 126 Law, 127 Stuart, 129 Groat, 130 Hoak, 131 Skinner, 136 Cimoli, and 138 Burgess. Condition is Near Mint overall, the ten-card panel is entirely clean and crisp, with bright colors, strong corners, and flawless edges. The blank reverse is clean. An extremely attractive rarity that would be a superb and significant addition to any Post Cereal or Roberto Clemente collection.
