Graded MINT 9 by GAI. Presented is a 1960 Leaf Baseball second series unopened five-cent wax pack. In 1960 Leaf packaged these unusual glossy black-and-white cards with marbles in an attempt to navigate contract terms with players, which dictated that only Topps could issue cards of modern ballplayers with bubble gum. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this pack are Mint cards. This high-grade unopened wax pack is in outstanding condition (with only a little handling wear), looking almost exactly as it did when it sat on a candy-store shelf in 1960. A worthy addition to any unopened pack collection or companion to any complete 1960 Leaf set. Reserve $200. Estimate (open).
