Graded EX 5 by PSA. Outstanding example of 1954 Bowman #66 Ted Williams, universally recognized as one of the most significant of all postwar baseball-card rarities. Williams, of course, had to be replaced with a different card (#66 Jimmy Piersall) very early in the 1954 Bowman print run due to contractual commitments to Topps. Crisp and clean, with bright colors, light corner wear, no print marks, and a clean reverse. The 20/80 left-to-right centering accounts for the assigned grade. An exceptionally attractive mid-grade example of one of Ted Williams' most classic cards, from this extremely popular 1950s issue. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
