Graded FAIR 20 by SGC. Extremely presentable, modestly graded example of one of Babe Ruth’s most classic cards: #53 with yellow background from the 1933 Goudey series. The "yellow background" pose of Babe Ruth is, without a doubt, his most difficult to obtain and sought-after card in the 1933 Goudey set. Bold colors, perfect centering, and light, even wear at the corners (slightly more in the upper left). A faint crease and natural toning is visible on the reverse. We grade this card slightly higher than SGC. An excellent opportunity to acquire one of Babe Ruth's most classic cards from the popular 1933 Goudey Gum series and one of card-collecting's iconic cards at a fraction of the cost of a higher-graded example.
