Graded NM 7 by PSA. This is the ONLY example graded at this level with none higher! A very attractive, tremendous ultra high-grade sample card of Bill Dahlen (Brooklyn Dodgers) from the extremely elusive 1912 Plow’s Candy issue. This unusual sepia-toned, large-format (3 x 4 inches) candy issue was not even known to exist until the 1960s, and is among the rarest candy cards of the era. The offered example is exceptionally crisp and clean. The card displays four strong corners showing just a hint of wear, flawless image clarity, centering slightly to the right, and an entirely clean blank back. Only twelve examples (of all players) from this entire set have ever graded higher by PSA! This is a very significant and substantial sample-card rarity in magnificent high grade. From the Dan Gantt Collection. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000++.
