Graded EX/MT+ 82 by SGC (submitted by REA). Presented is a very rare example of Rube Oldring/batting (Philadelphia) from the classic T206 set with an extremely desirable Uzit advertising reverse. According to T206Resource.com, Uzit ranks as the sixth scarcest advertising back within the T206 set (out of thirty-nine). While Uzit-back T206s are noteworthy to begin with, the offered card is particularly special in that it is the first confirmed example of this pose to exist with a Uzit advertisement. The offered example features brilliant colors, a crisp, flawless image, and perfect registration. Bright white borders with light, even wear to the four corners, and centered to the bottom left. The important Uzit advertising reverse is boldly printed and entirely clean. A grade of EX/MT+ is remarkable for a Uzit-back T206; out of 110 Uzits graded by SGC to date, only one example (of any player) grades higher, and 80% of the graded population is VG or less. This card is of extraordinary significance as the first confirmed example with this front-back combination and will be of great interest to T206 completists and rare-back collectors alike. Reserve $500. Estimate (open).
