Collection of five black-and-white photos, each individually signed by the respective player pictured. 1) Rube Marquard. Vintage news photo capturing Marquard as a member of the Giants, inscribed in blue fountain pen "To my pal Joe Bird/a swell guy/from/'Rube' Marquard." The signature grades "8," but the inscription displays bleeding and grades "5" overall. Marquard has added a lengthy handwritten letter to "Joe" on the reverse in black fountain pen ("8"), which is also signed "'Rube' Marquard." 6 x 8 inches. Vg, with editorial notations in the margins and light creases. 2) Arky Vaughan. An official National Baseball League Service Bureau photo capturing Vaughan as a member of the Pirates. Inscribed to his former teammate in blue fountain pen ("9"): "To Rip Collins/Best Wishes/'Arky' Vaughan." 7 x 9.25 inches. Ex. 3) Bill Terry. Captured on the field shaking hands with Babe Ruth in 1935 (Ruth is pictured as a member of the Braves). Signed "Wm. H. Bill Terry" in blue ink ("6"). 8 x 10 inches. Vg-Ex, with a few minor surface wrinkles. 4) Edd Roush. Captured as a member of the Cincinnati Reds. Signed by Roush in blue ink ("8"). 8 x 10 inches.
