Graded NM 7 (MC) by PSA. Superb rookie example of Japanese baseball superstar Sadaharu Oh from the scarce Hoshi Gangu issue. The offered example is a gold border variation and is one of only three examples (in any grade) ever graded by PSA. Bright, crisp, and clean, with four sharp corners. Centering to the left, with a very tiny part of the next card showing along the right edge, which accounts for the qualifier. Oh hit an astounding 868 home runs in his career, making him the all time home run hitting champion in professional baseball. This exceedingly scarce example is one of just a few cards featuring the legendary Sadaharu Oh. Reserve $300. Estimate (open).
