Graded EX 5 by PSA. Very attractive 1949 Bowman example of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. This is one of Robinson’s most striking and popular cards, and one of the great classics of all postwar bubble-gum cards. The offered example has superb centering, a perfectly crisp image, near-flawless registration, vibrant colors, and light corner wear. A pair of light surface wrinkles are visible upon close inspection, but do not significantly detract from the great eye appeal of this example. This card would make a fine addition to any 1949 Bowman set, Jackie Robinson, or classic-card collection. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
