Graded EX 60 by SGC (submitted by REA). Outstanding high-grade example of Bill McClellan (pose 304-3, Denver) from the N172 Old Judge set posed in an outdoor setting. This card, along with several other Old Judge lots within this auction, is new to the modern hobby, having been in the possession of a casual collector since the 1980s who decided that now is the right time to part with them. Crisp and clean, both front and back, with strong centering, and light corner wear at the tips. A barely perceptible paper wrinkle on the photograph accounts for the assigned grade. This is an excellent representation from this classic nineteenth century set which would be an extremely significant addition to any high-grade N172 Old Judge collection. Reserve $200.
