It seems only fitting that the “Fab Four” would be immortalized in their own card sets. When the Beatles stormed the shores of America, an uncontrollable appetite for Beatles-related products resulted, and Topps could barely keep up with the demand for new, exciting, and now classic Beatles trading cards. Presented here is an outstanding collection of fifty-one rare test issue cards from the "Beatles Plaks" series created by Topps during the 1960s to immortalize the Beatles. Each card features color photos of the band members alongside a fun phrase expressing love and admiration for the group. Fifty-five cards comprise a complete set, and thirty-six different are included within this grouping. PSA Grading Composite: NM-MT 8 (27 cards): #2, 4, 5, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, two 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 38, 43, 45, 46, and 53. NM 7 (10 cards): #1, 8, 14, 16, 17, 19, 27, 29, 42, and 49. EX-MT 6 (10 cards): #4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 23, 26, and 31. EX 5 (3 cards): #18, 21, and 22. VG 3 (1 card): #40.
