Superb near-complete set of 1937 Kellogg's Pep Sports Stamps Panels consisting of twenty-three out of twenty-four cards (missing only #11 for completion). Each panel is professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. This set features four perforated stamps of famous athletes on each panel, with an advertisement for the Kellogg's set at top and instructions on how to save the stamps and redeem Pep box tops for an album designed to house the stamps. Complete panels are extremely rare as the stamps were designed to be separated, making each panel in this near-complete set an outstanding surviving example. Dozens of athletes from a variety of sports are featured throughout this set, including baseball players, golfers, boxers, and jockeys, among others. Baseball Hall of Famers Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker, Paul Waner, Leo Durocher, Johnny Evers, Rick Ferrell, Joe Tinker, Mordecai Brown, Luke Appling, Gabby Hartnett, and Arky Vaughan appear in the set.
