Collection of 354 issues of Baseball Magazine, which includes 106 duplicates, spanning the years 1921 to 1965. For over fifty years, beginning in 1908, Baseball Magazine was the voice of the National Pastime, documenting every nuance of the game and its history in word and photographs. Today, Baseball Magazine is no longer published, but old issues open a window to history that is unrivaled, providing information and photos that often can be found nowhere else. Its research value aside, collectors have always prized the magazine for the tremendous display value of its classic covers. The issues offered here are no exception! While many of the early, pre-1940 cover illustrations are generic in nature, the overwhelming majority of the covers for the later issues feature photos of future Hall of Famers, either alone or with other players. Condition ranges from Poor to Excellent, averaging Very Good. The substantial size/weight of this item requires that there will be a shipping charge for this lot (which will vary depending upon where it is being shipped).
