Official National League (Giles) ball signed on a side panel by Jackie Robinson and Bob Feller. Both signatures, which have been scripted in blue ink, grade "9," with Robinson's signature appearing directly below that of Feller's. The salutation "Best Wishes" appears above Feller's signature. This ball dates from the 1958 to 1962 manufacturing period, which was after each player had retired. While only speculation, both Robinson and Feller were inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1962, so it is possible that the signatures were obtained at the induction ceremonies that year. Regardless of its history, it remains an outstanding Jackie Robinson signed baseball and one that would be ideal for display. The ball displays light soiling, as well as a few tiny areas of discoloration on the north panel. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. Reserve $500.
