Official American League (Harridge) ball signed by former Boston Red Sox first basemen Harry Agganis. The legendary "Golden Greek " has signed the ball in blue ink across the sweet spot, with the signature grading "8/9." Harry Agganis single-signed balls are exceedingly rare because of his tragic death from a pulmonary embolism at the age of twenty-six in 1955. This is just the third example we have ever seen and the first we have offered. The ball has been coated with a light layer of protective shellac and is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition.
