Extremely substantial collection of more than 7,700 cards from the 1984 Donruss series, one of the most popular and classic issues produced in recent times. This collection consists of nine complete sets as well as more than 1,800 duplicates, among them countless Hall of Famers, rookies, and stars. One of the complete sets is a factory set, still wrapped in the bricks as issued by Donruss. Eight of the complete sets are hand collated and grade 85% Nr/Mt to Mint (averaging Nr/Mt-Mt) and 15% slightly lesser (almost entirely due to centering). Keys: Eight #248 Mattingly RC (Nr/Mt-Mt+, four Nr/Mt-Mt, Nr/Mt+, Nr/Mt, and 75/25 L/R, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt). All sets include Duke Snider puzzle set. Three of the sets include the scarcer corrected versions of #29 Stenhouse and 30 Darling. Condition of the duplicates is 70% Nr/Mt to Mint (averaging Nr/Mt-Mt) and 30% lesser. Keys: Two #60 Ryan (Nr/Mt-Mt and Nr/Mt), two 61 Rose (Mint and Nr/Mt+), two 68 Strawberry RC (both Nr/Mt-Mt), two 106 Ripken (Mint and Ex-Mt), 151 Boggs (Nr/Mt-Mt), three 311 Sandberg (all Ex+), and two 324 Gwynn (Nr/Mt and 85/15 T/B, otherwise Nr/Mt-Mt).
