Extremely attractive and very scarce complete set of 1962 Topps CFL Football cards in original uncut panel form. These black-and-white cards measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches and depict members of the Canadian Football League. Each card features two players separated in the middle by a perforation. This is the first set of complete uncut panels we have ever seen; most sets are separated in the middle. A total of 169 cards comprise a complete set, but while two players are featured on each card, they are not necessarily consecutively numbered. (A complete list of panel combinations is below.) In the case of the offered set, 106 panels are included, representing the 169 different players plus forty-three duplicates. Condition is 75% Ex to Nr/Mt and 25% Vg-Ex (almost entirely due to centering). All cards are crisp and clean, with centering the only noticeable flaw on many of the cards. This is an outstanding, extremely high grade complete set of this unusual Canadian Football League series issued by Topps in the 1960s. Total: 106 panels, 212 cards. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
