Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. Of the 770 examples graded by PSA to date, only nine have been graded higher! Beautiful high-grade example of 1941 Play Ball #14 Ted Williams. This card is extremely well centered (very slightly to the left), with bright colors, no print marks, and perfect registration. Strong corners displaying light hints of wear (most noticeable at the bottom two) perhaps more consistent with a grade of Near Mint. The reverse is virtually flawless with bold black print. This is an outstanding high-grade example of one of Ted Williams' most classic cards, dating from the legendary 1941 season in which he hit .406. Reserve $1,000. Estimate $2,000/$3,000.
