Presented is an extremely significant T206 example of Jimmy Sheckard/glove showing featuring an Old Mill advertising reverse. While at first glance the offered card might appear to be nothing more than a regular T206 with a slightly scarce advertising reverse, it is actually extraordinarily noteworthy. It is the first and only example of Sheckard/glove showing confirmed to exist with an Old Mill back according to T206Resource.com, and no others are reflected in either the PSA or SGC population reports. The T206 set, affectionately known as "The Monster," is the most popular of all 1910-era sets and is still yielding new and exciting discoveries more than a century after its production. Thanks to the comprehensive cataloging and research undertaken by many T206 scholars and presented on T206Resource.com, collectors have a better idea of all the possible front and back combinations which comprise a master set. Encapsulated POOR 1 by PSA, the card presents with bold colors, a crisp image, and multiple light creases in the top half of the card. The important reverse displays areas of adhesive residue and paper loss. This example of Jimmy Sheckard heralds from an original-owner collection that has remained untouched for the past hundred years and will be of special note and interest to master-set collectors as an extraordinarily rare T206 front-back combination. When one considers that PSA and SGC have graded more than 255,000 T206s combined in the approximately two decades of professional grading, the fact that the offered card is the only example to have ever been graded (and the only one documented by T206Resource.com) is truly remarkable.
