Fold-over scorecard issued for a collegiate football game between Yale and Princeton on Thanksgiving Day, November 30, 1882, at the Polo Grounds in New York. The interior section lists the rosters for each club, while the reverse provides a score sheet to record the goals and an advertisement for Old Judge Cigarettes. Accompanied by a period newspaper clipping reporting on the game, which was won by Yale by a score of 6-0. The program (5.5 x 7 inches), which has been neatly scored on the reverse, displays a two-inch tear along the base of the spine and a slight area of adhesive residue along the left-front edge as a result of its having once been mounted in an album. In Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Reserve $200. Estimate $400+. SOLD FOR $3,259
