Magazine photo signed by Ty Cobb in blue ink (grading "10") on the front. The cut portrait-format photo pictures Cobb as a member of the Detroit Tigers. This signature was originally obtained decades ago by our consignor's husband, a lifelong autograph collector, who, starting in his teens, began the practice of writing players to ask for their autographs. It has remained in the family's sole possession since the day it was acquired. The photo (5 x 8 inches) has been trimmed to its current dimensions and has a paperclip impression in the upper left corner; it is otherwise in Excellent condition overall. LOA from James Spence/JSA.
