Magazine photo signed by Ty Cobb in blue ink (grading "10") on the front. The cut photo pictures Cobb on the base paths as a member of the Detroit Tigers. This signature was originally obtained decades ago by our consignor's husband, a lifelong autograph collector, who, starting in his teens, began the practice of writing players to ask for their autographs. It has remained in the family's sole possession since the day it was acquired. The photo (5 x 8 inches) was originally housed in an old-time photo album that featured tacky pages and a plastic overlay. Over time, the photo has completely adhered to the page, so we have made no attempt to remove it from its backing. Aside from that, the photo remains in Excellent condition.
