Collection of two complete or near-complete sets as well as other related material from the Topps "Monster Flip Movies" set. Issued by Topps in 1963, this 36-booklet set was issued in two-book panels (that could be separated along perforations; all booklets in this lot are in their ideal original panel form). The booklets were designed with 32 pages with black-and-white images that, when flipped, created a short action scene from a Universal monster movie. Very scary! This lot includes one complete set of eighteen panels (representing thirty-six booklets) and one near-complete set missing just one panel (#13/14). The flip-book panels are in overall Nr/Mt condition (with one lesser) with just some light toning visible. Also included are fourteen duplicate panels (twenty-eight booklets) in Ex to Nr/Mt condition. An empty display box (Vg-Ex/Ex, minor wear visible) and six wrappers (Nr/Mt) accompany as well. This is an outstanding collection from this rarely encountered 1960s nonsport issue. Total: 49 panels representing 98 booklets, six wrappers, and one display box. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+.
