This collection of untouched, virtually perfect 1936 Pac-Kups "Jolly Roger Pirate" cards is comprised of three complete sets (48 cards per set) and one near-complete set (32 of 48) for a total of 176 cards. The cards range in grade from NM-MT to MINT condition! Cards from the 1930s are rarely found in such extraordinary condition. There is an explanation: These cards originate from a legendary pack-fresh find of these nonsport classics that occurred many decades ago (we believe in the 1960s). All are bright and fresh, with bold colors, and sharp corners. Eleven cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA (seven MINT 9s and four NM-MT 8s). PSA grading composite: Seven MINT 9: About to Die, Duel on the Beach, Edward Low, Map of the Spanish Main (two examples), Treasure Cave, and Unloading Treasure. Four NM-MT 8: Attack on a Town, Combat at Sea, Pirate Gold, and Walking the Plank. This is an extraordinary high-grade collection, comprised of three complete sets and one near-complete set, of this extremely attractive 1930s nonsport-card issue. Total: 176 cards. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,058
