Complete set of fifty 1889 N91 Duke "Yacht Colors of the World" cards. Exceptionally strong set of these very colorful tobacco cards, with an overall Excellent appearance. Technically the condition ranges from Vg-Ex to Ex (averaging Ex), with the exception of just several cards slightly lesser. Issued with Duke's Cigarettes. These sporting cards feature attractive women dressed in fancy attire. The colors printed on the cards represent then well-known yacht clubs from around the world. The back of each card features a checklist of the set. This is an extremely attractive set with outstanding eye-appeal. Duke's "Yacht Colors of the World" set has always been highly appreciated by nineteenth-century nonsport tobacco-card collectors for its beauty and subject matter. Rarely offered as a complete set.
