Original photograph of the 1934 American League Champion Detroit Tigers signed by all twenty-seven team members pictured, including Hall of Famers Hank Greenberg, Mickey Cochrane, Charlie Gehringer, and Goose Goslin. Signed team photos in general dating from the 1930s are extremely rare, let alone such an outstanding and ideal-for-display championship team example. The photo captures the club in a traditional team pose and has been signed by each of the following players on his respective image: Greenberg, Cochrane, Gehringer, Goslin, Rowe, York (clubhouse), Clifton, Auker, Baker (coach), Owen, White, Hayworth, Rogell (clubhouse), Sorrell, Perkins (coach), Bridges, Fox, Schuble, Doljack, Hamlin, Hogsett, Marberry, Carroll (team trainer), Fischer, Crowder, Walker, and one other (first name "Whitey," last name illegible; we can find no player on the 1934 roster with the first name of "Whitey"). With few exceptions, signatures range in grade from "7" to "9." The photo (10 x 8 inches) has a couple tiny tears along the white border areas, and a small number of light surface wrinkles.
