Graded GOOD 2 by PSA. Extremely attractive example of "Shoeless Joe" from the 1919-1921 W514 Strip Card issue. This is Jackson's only strip-card appearance and is all the more noteworthy as it was issued at the height of the media's attention to the scandal. The card is blank-backed and measures 1-3/8 x 2-1/2 inches. Jackson is featured in a portrait pose. Bright, crisp, and perfectly clean front and back, with four square corners, bold colors, and centered slightly to the left (approximately 25/75). This is a sharp-looking card! Excellent appearance but has been downgraded by PSA due to several barely noticeable corner creases. This is an one of the few cards of Jackson dating from his playing days. Reserve $300. Estimate $500+. SOLD FOR $1,528
