Graded EX 5 by PSA. Hands-at-chest pose. Extremely attractive high-grade rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson. Johnson, of course, is one of the key Hall of Famers in the T206 White Borders set, which is universally recognized as one of the most substantial and beautiful sets ever produced. This T206 of Walter Johnson is a gorgeous example. It is bright and clean, with a deep blue background, and particularly large, full borders. The corners are square with even, very light wear. Centered 60/40 left to right. The Piedmont advertising on the back is boldly printed. This card would be a worthy addition to any high-grade T206, Walter Johnson, or Hall of Fame card collection. This is an exceptional classic vintage card in an extremely desirable grade. SMR value for the assigned grade is $1,300. Reserve $300. Estimate $500/$1,000+. SOLD FOR $1,880
