This is a gorgeous ultra high-grade complete set of 1967 Topps baseball cards. This spectacular set is easily the single finest 1967 Topps set we have ever seen or offered. All 609 cards have been graded and encapsulated by PSA. The set is comprised of 298 MINT 9s and 310 NM-MT 8s, and one GEM MINT 10. This is without question one of the finest sets ever assembled in the history of collecting of this classic 1960s Topps issue. This set is listed on the "PSA Set Registry" as the eighth-highest graded set. The PSA weighted Grade Point Average is an incredible 8.55. This classic set is one of the most popular sets of the era, and is literally packed with Hall of Famers and stars, in addition to the rare high-number cards. The grades for the entire set can easily be accessed online on the PSA Set Registry under "jwmerrill's 67's." The PSA grades are as follows: One GEM MT 10: #606. 298 cards graded MINT 9: including #5 Ford, 20 Cepeda, 100 Robinson, 103 Checklist (Mantle), 166 Mathews, 200 Mays, 215 Banks, 228 Hodges, 250 Aaron, 315 B. Every card is a gem. The emphasis on centering makes this set even more spectacular than suggested by its extraordinary high grade, and is evident throughout the set. (Also, please note that, as is the case with all cards in this entire auction, none of these cards has been submitted for review for the recently introduced PSA half-grades. There is no question that a great number of these cards would be awarded higher half-grades if submitted for review.) This is simply an amazing high-grade complete set.
