Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. One of only nine graded at this level by PSA (of the 227 graded in total to date), with only one example graded higher. Crisp, clean, super high-grade example of this classic tobacco card of Hall of Famer Ed Walsh, considered by many to be among the most attractive of all cards of Hall of Famer Ed Walsh. This is a particularly important Hall of Fame card in the set, as this is the only T206 pose of Walsh. All four corners are sharp, with just the slightest hint of wear on the tip of the upper left visible under magnification, and a few scattered hints of natural print marks on the near-perfect Sweet Caporal reverse keeping the card from grading Mint 9. Centered approximately 60/40 L/R, with snow-white borders and flawless colors. This is a strong Near Mint to Mint example, bordering Mint 9 territory. SMR value is $4,750. Reserve $1,500. Estimate $3,000+. SOLD FOR $5,875
