Original wax box of 1980-1981 Topps basketball. The box houses thirty-five of the thirty-six packs with each pack containing twenty-four cards, for a total of 840 cards. We can't call this a complete unopened box because one pack is missing, but it's close! The 1980 Topps set includes rookie cards of Hall of Famers Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards of these stars. All the other stars of the day are also included. Nineteen of the interior packs are in Ex-Mt condition and sixteen are slightly lesser (downgraded due to a very minor tear or two in the corners). The box has moderate shelf wear. Total 36 packs. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $1,058
