Graded EX 5 by PSA. One of only three examples graded at this level, with just two graded higher. Very attractive high-grade example of the legendary Buffalo Bill from the colorful N162 Goodwin Champions set. Buffalo Bill is the key non-baseball card from this very popular fifty-card set issued by Old Judge and Gypsy Queen Cigarettes. It is also one of the most striking cards in the set. Buffalo Bill is uniquely designed in the N162 set, with his name in large red lettering in the blue sky background. This very strong Excellent example is beautifully centered, with bright, flawless colors, very clean front and back, and four square corners. N162 Goodwin Champions are considered by many to be the most beautiful of all nineteenth-century tobacco cards. The set features champions and stars of the day from a wide variety of sports.
