Graded EX 60 by SGC. Highest-graded example! Hall of Famer Amos Rusie from the N300 Mayo series. Rusie was issued in two variations in the Mayo set, with his name spelled correctly, and with his name misspelled "Russie," with an extra "s." This is the variation with the misspelling. Because Rusie's career spanned the years from 1889 to 1901, an era in which few sets were issued, he appears on very few cards. Centered to the left, with a few small scattered edge nicks to the black borders, but still a very sharp-looking card, with a perfectly clean reverse. Reserve $500. Estimate $1,000/$2,000.
