Pair of size 16 Nike sneakers produced exclusively for use by LeBron James as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Each white shoe displays a red trim and features the name "LEBRON" stamped on the heel. James' uniform number "23" is also stamped on each heel adjacent to the name. The stylized "L23" logo appears on both the side of the shoe and on the Velcro strap running across the front. The name "LEBRON" is stamped on the outer side of each shoe. "Chamber of Fear" is printed in red on the front of the Velcro strap on the left shoe. James has inscribed the right shoe, "LeBron James 23" in black marker (grading "9/10") along the outer side. The black marker notation, "4/9 Milw," appears on the inside of each tongue. As MEARS notes in its accompanying LOA, these shoes do match the style of those worn by James on 4/9/2005 against the Milwaukee Bucks in Cleveland; however, no official team or player provenance is provided. James recorded the third triple-double of his career that night. The shoes display light use, including scuff marks along the edges, and there is a light stain on the front of the right shoe. LOAs from Dave Bushing & Troy Kinunen/MEARS and James Spence/JSA. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $587.50
