Original 1976 Topps football display box housing thirty-five 1977 Topps football wax packs. When we received this box we expected the contents to be 1976 Topps football packs but inside were actually 1977 Topps football packs. A complete box is thirty-six packs; this box is missing one pack and contains thirty-five unopened packs. The 1977 Topps set includes cards of Walter Payton, Steve Largent, Roger Staubach, and Terry Bradshaw. While it is impossible to provide guarantees with reference to grading of unopened material, there is, of course, the very real possibility that within this box are Gem Mint cards of these stars. All the other stars of the day are also included. Twenty of the interior packs are in Ex-Mt condition and sixteen are slightly lesser (downgraded due to a very minor tear or two in the corners). The box has shelf wear but displays beautifully. Total 35 packs. Reserve $200. Estimate $400/$600. SOLD FOR $940.00
